Default First time home buyer tax rebate??

I purchased my first house in September and am wondering what others have put on there tax return for a rebate and what determines the amount you get back... I see you can put a maximum of 5000$ down and I believe you get 15% back..any info is appreciated

Just enter $5,000 on line 369 on Schedule 1.

You can split it with a spouse or common law partner, it just can't exceed $5,000 total.
