Default Calgary SAIT student looking for January accomadation

Yup it is getting down to the wire but my 19 year old starts SAIT early/mid January and we are still looking for shared accomadation, basement suite etc. Access to C train is pretty critical as starving students can't afford vehicles and insurance. Can use furnished or supply himself with basics.
Anyone have or know someone? He has ad in Kadiji and is replying/following
same daily. Budget? $500. + utilities etc included
thanks
Rob

Is he going for a full semester or just 2 months for an apprenticeship?

make sure he has applied with SAIT student residences. If they are anything like the university they often have vacancies when some tenants quit school or get kicked out at the end of the first semester for low marks.

Thanks, no he is full semester but is not interested in residence for 4000. for 5 months and a shoebox for a room. Shared would be perfect. Bachelor would do.

Default forum members, thanks

Sounds like he talked to a forum member tonight who had a room with shared accomadation which will fit him well. nothing like the hunting fishing kid goiing to another hunting and fishing home to make him feel good right away. many thanks to everyone who sent PM's, suggestions, websites etc as the response on this forum in one day has been much better than him advertising on Kijiji for a week. This forum is still about members looking out for members despite the odd rant thrown in to see if we are paying attention. bwhahahahaha
