Exclamation Case 621b float- SOLVED!

There was no manual with the loader, I am using it to plow and am really hoping there is a float mode.

Call the Case dealer with your serial number and they will tell you if it has the float feature. If it does ask them where or talk to a mechanic at the dealer.

Have you tried just pushing the lever hard forward past the detent? Can't recall the machine but I recall one where you had to push all the way forward and to the right to make it float...

Good luck

On my case backhoe the float feature is all the way forward and a bit to the right and it goes into the detent.

Found it!!!

Redhead Equipment looked up a operators manual and let me take pics of the relevant information. On the side console there are 4 switches; bucket height control, return to travel, declutch and detent/float. The joystick has electromagnets to lock into place. I plowed using it tonight, it is great.

Problem solved, thanks everyone.

Glad to hear you got it solved as float is such a useful feature as you know. Redhead is a great group of people in my opinion and well known for customer service in their province. If you ever lay gravel or topsoil etc try using the float feature while back blading as it really helps to do a very smooth looking job.
