Default Quad value question

I'm thinking of selling my quad to fund another retriever and some remote dummy launchers
I have a 2009 arctic cat 700 quad
I bought it in 2013, and have not even burned a full tank of fuel in it
I just don't ever use it
when I bought it needed a rear axil because it was clicking the boot had a tear in it
so I'm going to replace the axil and cv joint and boot, and have a tune up done on it
it has factory tires and rims on it and a winch, front and rear racks
t had a recall for a pin in the transmission which I had done,
it has just around 1050 miles on it mostly light field use
what is it worth

A bit of elbow grease spit polishing, it should get around the $3500 mark. I doubt it will go higher. Check Kijiji for the model and options and see where yours fits in the market. Look outside Alberta as well to get a larger sample size. Include a few extras to help it stand out, the tool box, service receipts and maybe an oil change kit stuff like that.

Nothing wrong with the Arctic Cat / Suzuki engine combo. I believe that the 09 model still used a Suzuki engine.

You do not mention if it has power steering. ALOT of the 700's and up do. power steering is a feature looked for by older guys.

Save yourself the $500 you are going to spend on the Axle / tune up and it will go for $3,250. or fix it and get the $3,500.00.

I see many quads priced in the $4,000 - $5,000 range and they just sit. If you can wait til spring, it will be easier to try for more.

I sold a 2010 550 TRV last fall with 420 kms, got $4200 for it.
I would go with Drewski on price.

Hint; take the seat and side panels off and pressure wash it really good inside and out. Either at home or you're local car wash. Then park it in you're garage and use a full can of spray foam tire dressing on it. Inside wheel wells, suspension, all plastic outside. Basically everything except for exhaust, seat and handle grips. Then let dry overnight. It will look like new again.
I do this after it gets really muddy, and use the tire dressing on the Quad as described. The dirt cleans off much easier the next time.

I was wrong on the mileage it is 1050 KMs just a little over 600 miles
and if I remember right it has 102 hrs on it
no power steering that's why the guy I bought it from sold it because he bought it for his wife she didn't like it because it had no powering steering so she bought herself a new one with power steering
