Default Ducks Unlimited land?

Can anyone tell me what the deal is with D.U. quarter sections of land. I see on the County Map I have a few quarter sections marked Ducks Unlimited. Can a guy hunt these quarters? Do you need permission and if so from who?

Thanks,

Al

Depends on the section of land. All the DUC/ACA sites are foot access only, and most can be hunted for something or other. Usually no camping and no open fires. Some parcels require permission.

All the details are accessible online by searching site name, location, WMU, etc here: www albertadiscoverguide com (put in the "dots.")

I think all of the areas have a DU sign on it and all around the boarder at access points there is a 1 800 number and I have called it numerous times to ask about the land that I want to access.... I now have the cell number of the DU gal (Ashley) and call and /text her questions if needed...she is the calgary south person but the 1-800 number gets you to I believe the edmonton office and they can route you to the person in your area
