Default Airdrie had a rare visitor

On Friday Airdrie had a rare visitor. Watch your pets and kids. Seems they are becoming more common. Calgary a month ago too.

Probably as he/she's found some really easy lunches to be had. Adapt to survive and may have a den with a few youngsters. Probably the safest place to rear Wolverinees.

Monday eve about eight in eve a wolverine ran along the road and crossed about five miles east of Coutts Ab Tried to get a pic but it ran into a culvert. Most likely came up the Milk River drainage and heading toward the Sweetgrass Hills in Montana. This was only 3 miles off the border. this is not the first sighting down on the border..

Default Wolverine

I run a trap line in November. I haven't come across any, but my father in law has trapped a couple. They're an impressive animal!
