Wynn's Law not likely to pass
Two Edmonton-area MPs are rejecting Wynn's Law — legislation intended to make it tougher for criminals to get bail.
Bill S-217 will likely not pass third reading in the House of Commons after the Liberal-dominated justice and human rights committee found the bill would create more delays in the court system
Cooper said the loophole "cost Const. Wynn his life when he was murdered by a career criminal who was out on bail because that career criminal's history was not presented at a bail hearing."
Shawn Rehn, who shot Wynn at the Apex Casino in St. Albert, had previously been convicted of 68 criminal offences and faced 27 outstanding charges.

Even the bank won't loan you money without knowing your credit history. That's a real head shaker.

BS excuse- appoint more judges, build more jails, do whatever you need to do to streamline the system. Refusing to support a bill because it would compound the effects of your government's clear ineptitude and failure to reform the system is shameful
Fix the root of the issue and we then we can try to make the streets a little safer, don't just throw your hands up and stonewall efforts to do so now

Yah, its pretty pathetic when the "rights" of the criminals/convicts seems to supersede that of the victims when the latter is usually a law abiding productive citizen who pays taxes and helps benefit society as a whole and the other is generally a P.O.S. who is a drain on society and a waste of good oxygen but I guess that fits in perfect with the brilliant liberal mentality

Decades of Socialism spreading it's tentacles into the legal system which enables lowlife to victimize the public without risk of retribution. Almost seems like another way of legitimizing a wealth redistribution scheme that lefty's have been pushing for decades.

YUP, too much info to get? Slows down courts? Maybe Mr Wynn would be alive today if the judge that put him on bail could have seen his record.
Brutal and our own Amergeet said no too. Feel so bad for his widow and family.

What needs to happen is maybe these politicians families need to be affected by this,, because without that nothing will change. We can send Amerjet back home to his home country, like always politics has no common sense. I would break into jail and
