Edmonton-ish area scrap cats and engine cores

Hey y'all. I have started my own auto repair shop in Whitehorse and I'm collecting a nice little pile of scrap catalytic converters, batteries and long blocks. Getting rid of the cats and lead is easy, but who is buying engine blocks these days? I am driving down to Alberta in the next few weeks and I may load up to pay for fuel.

When I lived right near Peace River there was a guy coming up the road (all the way to Yellowknife) and all over the place. Canada Cores? Something like that? He used to come to my acreage in Marie Reine and we'd load up all of my cats, batteries, blocks etc. I can't find his contact any longer.

Those guys did come up in my search and unfortunately they're out of BC.

I'll work the phones with the scrap catalyst guys tomorrow to see if I can drum up a name that'll buy these long blocks.
