Would be nice to put the cup in the west.
I don't watch much hockey anymore, some due to life in general with the kids and committments, but a lot is due to the bs that goes on in the NHL now. Penalties and league discipline are a joke, and so far every time Boston has made the finals it's been partially because of refereeing.

Anyone who thinks Colin Campbells son being on the Bruins did not affect the decisions made by referees is kidding themselves, and any9ne who thinks officiating has been even and fair hasn't been watching games without their biased glasses on.

Dre... Did you get the standard Tin foil hat or did you get the super duper customized one? Is there a discount if you buy more than one? ;-)

Rask has had a great playoff, but Marchand and Bergeron have been their top guys for the last few seasons.

32-12 in shots??? HOLY..

Does the ST Louis GT always look like someone shot his dog after a goal? Or perhaps this something new?

Boston started slow, but then they dominated. Even the crossbar couldn't stop Boston every time.

Blues note to self, stay out of the box. We're doing ok till stupid penalties and that bad goal let in but Binnigton. Done after that.

Yup. the blues are in trouble. The bruins had a rust shaking first and then "blue" them away for 2 periods. It was like watching McKinnon drub the phlegms.

I see that 100' charge that Krug layed out the other night that wasn't called by the refs took a toll, Thomas is out tonight. Good job officials, but sent some Blues players to the box for a weak high stuck and crappy Interference. Guess depends on the Jersey not the offence. See what happens tonight.

Watch the replay on youtube. Krug gets up in his own end, obviously pizzed at Perron. Perron hops in the players box and Krug veers toward the puck. He is actually gliding the last 15' toward the puck. Thomas comes into the picture to play the puck. Was Krug supposed to stop? He didn't leave his feet until after contact.

Rule 607 | Charging
(Note) Charging is the action where a player takes more than two strides or travels an excessive distance to accelerate through a body check for the purpose of punishing the opponent.

My opinion it should have been a charging call. Where he hit him was good, no head shot no leaving of feet. Never said that was a problem. To bad a player got hurt at this time of year.

Anyways we will see what happens tonight.

Oh and no I don't blame refs for the loss, Blues shot themselves in the foot with penalties, but if your going to call a guy blocking a player with your stick, you also should call the other team when his sole reason for a hit, was to blow up the first Blues player he could.

I would agree with you if Krug would have kept pumping his legs toward a player, but he was gliding into the zone towards a free puck. Thomas just got there a split second before him. As a result he got flattened. If Thomas would have had possession of the puck beforehand, I would say he targeted him. It wasn't the case.

Oh Binnington should have had that one. Reminds me of a Flames game. Just get some momentum going and poof gone.
Well fellas I am off to catch a plane home. Enjoy the rest of the game.

I’d be fine with Chara being a healthy scratch for the rest of the playoffs.

Probably Boston’s worst game of the playoffs. No skating and no hands. Maybe too much concentration on hitting. Oh well, that’s why series are more than one game.

Got the split, very nice. Didn't see most of it but highlights looked like was good game. What was the Rat Marchand slamming his stick on the bench and crying about? Bite his tongue trying to lick someone?

Nope. No charge.....just a bad place at a bad time to play the puck with a pizzed off player at full speed coasting around looking for a kill......

Three PPG. St. Louis is going to have to solve their PP issues, or be much more disciplined, if they want a shot.
