Alberta hunting show producer canned

Just my observation, No limts tv Producer Chris David has been ejected from his own show, Cabelas pro staff and the Calgary sports show!!

Rumour has it he is being charged for several wildlife offenses

I guess if you burn enough bridges u have no where to go but under!! We dont need clowns like this teaching kids to hunt ect

That's too bad about Chris, I had the pleasure of sharing a few beers with him and he seemed like a nice fella, had some pretty funny stories. I guess if you want to play you better be willing to pay.

No limits site has a 5 hour old post from Chris stating he is stepping away after 14 years for personal reasons. End of message says he will concentrate on health and family.

Interesting first post....I don't have WildTV so not really familiar with the show.

Well since it just happened today on facebook, I was just mentioning it as general discussion
but if it's not appropriate to discuss general happenings in the hunting industry then I guess my bad!

First post ever on the forum (or is it?)....not even an introduction of yourself, just digging the dirt on someone else....

You have no issue with that?

The fact is the facebook post mentions he is stepping away from the show....but you also report a rumour and how do you know he is no longer a pro-staff for Cabelas? Was that reported as well?

Just seems like a zinger of a first post....that's all.

Yes it was reported and his account was closed immediatly
like I said just discussing what I thought was a fairly important issue being that a mentor to kids and a promoter of the sport is doing these not so good things

Just thought I would post something interesting off the shot but whatever just delete it if it's gonna cause a **** storm!!!

Very interesting as guys with TV shows have to go to extremes to get footage for all of us to watch so I see the TV ifndustry as a catch 22 !!

Wondering now if his elk was to close to Jasper ?

Fur and Feathers are always looking for someone to use as an example and they watch the TV guys very close.

Unfortunately its all of us that watch the shows asking for big huge racks and exceptional video footage that put all the pressure on the shows to produce the footage and when a show is bland or just so so footage we all say its boring and not worth watching !!

So they push the envelope and sometimes get caught. All for us !! JMHO !!

Really curious as to where the info regarding a Whitetail being seized came from? After some extensive searching I am unable to locate anything about this.

I don't see a problem on a hunting forum with members taking a concern with poaching that is going on that has a direct impact on their current and future hunting privileges. Assuming the allegations are not BS that is....

That's the kicker, we don't know and anything up to a trial and conviction is gossip.
