I was there on the long weekend and it fished good. Definite bite times and slow times so you will have to find fish and be in that area for the bite. Most fish I caught were in weedy areas. I just troll around with a leech pattern with a full sink line and a floating line depending on weeds and depth. Obviously used the floating line mostly because of all the weeds. I found most fish at 3-5' depth and some at 1' and very few at 10'. This weekend looks like a great time to go. Check Waterton forecast for temps and especially wind. It's not uncommon for 80-100 km/hr winds on Chinook days.

The wind can be a problem--But if your have water transsport for fast retreat. Head down to the far end you will find a grassy bank.with waders you can catch some beauties from the shore, small flies light line--Of course the old reliable strike indicator, with 12 smaller green nymph, the best taker.
