That is probibly part of the reason, but they are also a threatened species from what I've read and heard. They were back in the seventies when I first head of them.
I'd like to see one, I've heard that they hare half again as big as the Weasels I'm familure with and I hear they have a tail that's longer then their bodies, that must look cool !
I've seen photos of course but I know from experiance that photos often don't give a preson a proper idea of what a critter is realy like.
I was shocked at how big Seals are, darn things are nearly as big as a cow, without legs.
