Default Slave lake / cutbank , Ice and info

Hey everybody , so i called up and talked to a felliw who rents shacks at jousard
He tells me theres still open water in the middle ....
And that the only shacks out are by driftpile , only out a couple hundred yards .

I am wondering tho ...

Can a guy get on at shaws point with quad and travel over to cutbank area , east of Hillards Bay ?

OR , can ya head out on quads from the Jousard acccess?

OR ......the NARROWS ????😬

Thanks guys for any info ..?

Ive been to Chip lake a few times by Wildwood , pretty not bad
Caught a few , had a few monsters snap the Proline , fishin line , and that **** is tough 🥴

There are 3 shacks out at cutbank now. 8-10 inches of ice. Quad/skidoo traffic only.

It’s a lot shorter to cutbank if you go on at hilliards boat launch rather than Shaw’s.

Default Cutbank

Half a dozen or so trucks out to cutbank today, a few more shacks moved out, 14" of ice.
