Default Bought some Slick Tricks

bought some 100 gr. standard slick tricks this weekend, at 15 yards they are hitting same as my field points, I haven't had a chance to try them any further yet, they sure make a mess of my target quick, I hope they work at 30-40 as well as they do at 15

I have never shot them but was guiding and in a bear camp when a shooter's mechanicals failed...one of the other shooters lent him some Slicks...he was nailing a cig pack out to 40ys ...awsome for a four blade...twice further than the bear went he shot with them...

No looking for a bloodtrail either
I am impressed with them..

Started using them last year, so far shot an elk and a bear, less than 100 yards recovery between the two animals.

Supposedly according to the Cabelas Canada purchaser, Slick Trick is discontinuing the standard 100gr. in the next year and either replacing the design or simply carrying on without it and forcing people to try their other models. Im switching to the magnum 100gr. this year for that reason. Sad to see the standard 100gr. go if this is indeed true, i've taken most of my moose with them.

Cabelas guy is incorrect. I sent ST an email after reading your post. They replied immediately.
"Good morning,

Thank you for contacting us.

The Slick Trick Standard broadhead is one of our most popular, I do not foresee it being discontinued in the near future. Yes, this year we have converted our 3 packs to 4 packs and have re-branded our logo. We have also came out with a Pro Pack which consists of 10 ferrules and 12 blades. The Pro Pack is carried in 100 grain magnum and 100 grain standard.

If you have any further questions or concerns please let us know!

Sincerely,

Heidi Zimmer

me too! Even though I've been using Ramcats last couple of years, (use to shoot ST Mags) I think I might stick a couple of Vipertricks in my quiver.
