Default Leaking Aluminum Boat - Repair

Hi there,

I have fairly new Lund WC-14 that is leaking water through one of the rivets. Can anyone here recommend a good place to take it to get repaired in the Edmonton area?

Boat was purchased at Riverside Honda.

Greatly appreciated in advance.

The hull warranties on Lund are Lfetime for the original owner and at least ten years for a second owner. Take it back to the dealer and get them to fix it under warranty.

Warranties include:

Lifetime warranty on double-riveted seams.

Transferable 10 year pro-rated warranty for second owner.

I you were closer, I would tighten it for you. If you take it to any shop that uses solid rivets, they can tighten it in about 5 seconds.

This. Riverside is no longer a Lund dealer (to my knowledge) but any Lund dealer should be able to do the warranty work.

Interesting, I did not know they were no longer Lund. To the OP, even though it is a relatively easy fix, take it to a dealer for warranty approved repair or you risk invalidating your warranty. If you have a much more serious issue you will be very happy to have warranty as repairs can get REALLY expensive very quickly. Let us know how you make out.

Really appreciate the responses! I will follow up with a Lund dealer and keep everyone posted. Riverside Honda not being a lund dealer anymore is news to me, I will call tomorrow and confirm.
