Default unbelievable day on the lake, HUGE rainbows (pic heavy)

was a great day on the lake, lost 13 fish, landed 2, one was 23 inches, didnt measure the last one as it was getting to dark, but did weight it in at 7 pounds, what a monster, spooled me right to the end of my backing, what a great afternoon and evening out on the lake, all caught and released.

fattest rainbow i have ever seen, untill... this guy bit like no tomorrow, fastest hardest bite i have ever had with trout.

fattest rainbow i have ever caught, just before dark,

i dont kill my fish, i only release, rarely keep anything as im not the best cook, its just the way the picture was takin, i was by myself from shore, tried to take the best pics i could, its not easy taking photos of big fish when by yourself in mud while taking the least amount of time so you can release the fish safely.

Way to go Shawn, great fish and awesome pictures. You have a talent for photography, and it is improving with every thread.

After seeing those pics I am definitely going to buy the new camera I have my eye on.

Last good camera I got was the first Canon Digital Rebel.

I am now looking at the Canon 60D. All my lens are older...but still work as they were AF.

Good job...and excellent to see those monsters are there for someone else to enjoy the fight.

Sun

P.S. It is easy to see none of those fish were dead. The eyes don't lie.

I think he quite strongly resembles my other half!

Takes hubby longer to do his hair then it does me.
