Default outboard motor repair

Does anyone know of a good marine mechanic in the bowness area in calgary. I have a 1975 15h jhonson sea horse that is leaking grease from around the prop. I bought the boat and motor 3 years ago and taken it out about 20 times and it has never died on me. It still runs great and want to keep it that way. I havent had any work done on it yet ,so it could probably use a tune up as well. I would also like to know where to get parts for an old motor like this as well if i need to do a repair myself.
Thanx.

As I'm from Edmonton I can't really help you with finding a mechanic but I found this site for parts. I have a 76 johnson. They seem to have almost any part you need although I haven't ordered from them yet. Hope this helps.

Weird how my prop seal leaks too on my johnson, wonder if its something prone to them or just a coincidence.

Those seals would be about 35 years old. Might have something to do with it.

I just got in a shipment from these guys. I ordered a new prop for my 15 Evenrude. A fuel pump, the main handle, the grip, throttle cable and a bunch more smaller pieces. To get it in town was going to be $550. To get it on line was $250 + shipping $30, taxes were $20. So all in all it was $300. Saved $250. Even if I had of told them at the dealer to get it. They would have just had to order it from the same place anyhow.

Oh one thing. These parts including the prop were all OEM parts.
