And then just up the road a bit till you come to the tee intersection...turn right...oh hold on now, or was it turn left...anyway make a turn and go all the way to where the sign says...”do this don’t do that can’t you read the sign” long haired freaky people need not apply...sorry but that’s all I got!

That thing sure is a giant. Lots of great photos taken of him this year. Sounds like he's 14 years at least, so hopefully he pulls through this winter!

Amazing the trophy potential in the genetics of our sheep.

Thanks for sharing. Park or not, still gets the blood going.

There is another one with him that should be a contender in the coming years!

That sort of looks like the bad boy from Waterton, I had a couple pics of him in 2016 and he was a hog then already, nice to see, he will live out his entire live in the park and probably die of old age or a cougar will have dinner on him.

All be it an awful death it would be, in some ways it’s still kind of neat and in a way sacred in a sense to see nature just be nature. Makes you wonder too when people find heads of big trophy class animals that have died and we don’t know there stories. Always interesting to think about.

I was going to say Waterton also. Not 100% sure but he was a slob. And there was another big boy with him. Saw the pair this summer while down there.

Amazing how gig they can get. I wonder if there are any like that left in the hunting zones away from the park borders anymore.

A very good friend of mine has the 2nd largest. We watched that old boy on the hillside when he'd come out of the sanctuary after Christmas for a few years.

Great pics guys, thanks for sharing!

I always say, the life expectancy of a legal ram can be measured in minutes, the hunting pressure is that intense. Fact of Life.

Have a scroll through the winter surveys going back for many years. Alberta has done a poor job managing our sheep herd. The 2018 winter survey SMA 4a found zero rams of 4/5 size. None/not one.

Such a shame,I have never taken a Ram, in my youth I tried and managed a couple of old granny Ewes.

Its not only sheep that are taken young though, very few legal Elk get through the season in the areas accessible to the average hunter.

Time the Bios came up with a better strategy for all our mountain game.
