draw tag not bought

I heard if a person was drawn for a animal and didn't buy the tag that that person would not be able to go into the draw next year? Asking for a friend.

I’ve never heard that as far as I know you would just go back to 0 priority.

I think there's a new rule about that this year maybe it's for the report but there's a 15 or $25 fee if you don't fill it out not sure about not using the tag definitely go back to zero
