Default that is correct

I think the last I heard they got bumped for 1 year only by a car show or something that coincided with the weekend the easter show usually occurs on.

If they hadn’t of changed the date this year I would of been home. Unfortunately I’ll be 15k km away and won’t be able to buy anything.

Scuttlebutt I got is, the simple reason for the change of date is, the person responsible didn't book it in time. Steven Mandel's office manager ?

I found it rather odd that it wasn't default booked for that weekend. The Stampede is heavy on tradition and this is a very well-attended and longstanding event with significance in the very same western culture that the Stampede roots itself. I guess if the booking issue being on the organizers end is the case then I won't keep thinking that the Stampede was to blame. Or at least allow for another possibility anyways, its easy to feel kicked around as a firearms owner so that thought process can come to mind.

I think the Stampede should be offering them the right of first refusal for those days.

Default Week long Calgary International Car show

April 17-21 but this year Easter falls on April 21. I suspect both events are booked years in advance but with the car show being a week long they take priority over a 2 day show on a conflict
