Has anyone seen any of these in Alberta yet? If so who carries them?

The 457 royal is a beautiful little gun looks like the old bruno my father has. The American is pretty sweet looking to. I might have to pick up a couple when me twin boys get a little older. I’ve got a 455 .22LR American bolt action it’s the most accurate gun I own my son gets a kick out of popping chickens at over 50 yards.
Just my 2 cents that means nothing but I’m a fan of the bolt action for accuracy training one shot one kill thing.

I’m looking to see a MTR in person soon.i don’t know if I want that or the Varmint, but I like the idea of the match barrel. For me it might just depend on availability of the MTR barrel after the fact.

I am thinking of the 457 MTR myself. The 527 MTR has my attention too!

Darn, that 60 degree bolt would have been handy on my 455.

I like the older action better this looks like a Marlin/savage bolt action but the trigger guard is an improvement.

The 60 degree bolt throw will be nice.
Weaver and Leupold scopes have small oculars. They work well with the 452 and 455 without having to resort to higher rings.
There's other scopes with small oculars that work well with the 452, 455 bolt throw, but Weaver and Leupold have worked well for me

I found the trigger really bad on the new series if Semi auto CZ's, the bolt triggers are much easier to adjust

Yes, the Royal is a beauty, might have to add one to my CZ collection.

Why did they stamp CZ 457 ROYAL into the side of the stock of their fanciest model. Tacky tacky tacky.

New cz rimfires for north of $850, no thanks, mind you if you are a T Bolt fan, you will be looking at more than 1100.00 for the 2019 models. I for one am quite happy with my assortment of 452 models.....FS

I'm not usually one to criticize, but yes....that pretty much kills it for me. Having said that, I guess I'd have to see one in the flesh before passing judgement.
