Haha sorry I guess I should say mine as Well. Lesser slave lake and river. I just love how the jack seemed to bit in the day and just as it cooled off the walleye came alive.

Those are my home waters, I fish them between 2 and 4x a week most of the year, excluding hunting season. I like fishing new waters, especially exploring new rivers... but I'd have to agree, Slave Lake and river are pretty awesome spots to spend a large portion of my free time!

Man... all the biggest fish I've ever caught came out of rivers in the fall, but no way can make myself give up hunting time to go fishing more than once or twice... Last year I did some night fishing for walleye after work, but I just cant seem to alot any daylight hours to catching fish.

I really like Twin Valley Reservoir. Its not far from Calgary and its a beautiful lake. Got a nice boat launch and even a campground. Not to mention that there are loads of Pike and if you find the right spots, you will have an exciting day!
