Good point. My SA HS mags would limit COAL to less than 2.83” for reliable feeding.

Well, got it out in the snow today. A bit cool and the wind made me wimp out after a single test group but it looks like it’s going to be a decent shooter. Actually, the conditions were similar to the time I hunt deer towards the end of November. I suspect the shot that fell out of the group happened because I was not paying attention and the rear sling stud rode up on the bag ... or, more likely ... I just blew it
