Default New pup for xmas need names

The wife and I decided it was time to get a puppy for our son for Xmas. After lots of research we decided on a beagle. He was born on October 17th and will be ready to come home near the end of December.... still thinking of good names any suggestions would be welcomed

Got a new puppy 2.5 weeks ago. Get your deposit back. It's worse than a new born. But he's damn cute.

This is why I called my dog Trigger. It triggers many emotions like anger when It chews my extension cords.

Anyone interested in 1' long extension cords? I've got lots. Lol. Damn dog

'Jack Tripper', because he always drank at the Regal Beagle.

perhaps 'Bugs', because beagles are known for hunting rabbits?

Then again if he’s hunting wabbits, his name would be Elmer.

Best advice I can give you is to spend some time with the pup then decide on a name based on his character. My beagle came down to two names, Timber based on his color ( lemon beagle so just brown and white) or Ranger. I ended up going with Ranger because my dog likes to explore, Ranger is short for "free ranger"

My suggestion, let your kid name the pup. Naming something live makes it yours. It is the beginning of a bond that will last many years.

Classic movie, Fox and the hound, the hounds' name is Copper which is a pretty cool name I think. Tod the fox, also cool, or Boomer the woodpecker.
I Named my pup Juneau, because I've always wanted to go to Alaska. Inspiration for a name can come from many places. Good luck with the pup!

Why not let your son help in naming the pup instead of a stranger on the inter Webs?
