Don’t have any real world experience with synthetic rope but after reading this thread from about 3 1/2 years ago I just picked up a couple of 50’ 5/16” amsteelblue extensions for some extra reach. A few bucks for shipping but the quality is up there.

Hope this helps a little

I have such winch on my JKUR. Synthetic rope is not reccomended on this line of Superwinches. Go to their web site and read the synthetic rope warning at the bottem of the LP series page.

I've used it in heavier applications, can find it at continental chain and rigging I believe. Strength was fine, durability not so much.

I'm a bit old school, like the wire cable even with the problems it has with kinks and burrs. I have seen a couple atv's and a side by side with the synthetic rope and watch it break over and over right when the pull to get out was the hardest. Re tie and try again just to break again. Maybe it was the rope size but wasn't all the impressed. Lots of people like the synthetic stuff.

From what I have heard you can't use a winch block with synthetic. My buddy recently bought a Polaris ranger from Riverside in St. Albert. For what it is worth they would not put a synthetic line on it. Said they have seen too many problems. Up to you though.
