Default Anyone trying out the 2017 Fast Eddie ?

Started sighting mine in, the horizontal adjustment is like my scope on my
22. it moves with clicks, or detent. Very Nice.

Some have said it moves in too fine of increments but I had no problem.

It is a heavy sight but I only had to remove 1, one ounce weight from my
stab, to compensate from my old site. It holds and shoots fine.
I've got the FE about 8" past my riser, had the old site about 6" past the riser.
Noticed that my peep is abit large for the sight at 8" out may bring it back
to 6" from the riser for peep "fit" to the hood of the FE.

That would also bring center of balance back toward the bow hand..
less forword weight from the sight.

Horizontal is good, so next is vertical for the other 2 pins at 25 and 30 yards.
Then we go with the sight tapes and to 60. :-)

Like others have said Spot Hogg sights are built like a tank, and you can
adjust them every which way you want. Am very satisfied with this sight.

No noises or vibs. from this sight.

3 pins, green, red, green .019" 4x scope lens.

Have my 3 fixed pins set to 20, 25 and 30 yards.

Was sighting in today at 60 yards and found at about 55 yards I was starting
to run into vane clearance issues with the sight hood. I'm using 2" blazers odd color vane straight up at 90 deg. Was able to nock the arrows 180 deg. and
got the height at 60 yards ok but was limiting for much past that.

I was using my top 20 yard pin for ranging out to 60 yards, before I make any other changes I'm going to use my bottom 30 yard pin instead for ranging.
Talked to Spot hogg about this they said simply use the 30 yard mark on the
sight tape to align up with where the 20 yard calibration mark used to be.
The 20 yard cal. mark will be indicated by the pointer when you take the cal.
tape off to swap it out with the actual sight tape.

Using the bottom fixed pin rather than the top fixed pin will give me a good bit
of lift from where I'm at now.

I'm shooting an older slower bow, DXT 2009 at 60lbs with a 28.5 beman and 100 grain target head appox. 400 grains total.

I also have the ability to go up in DW to 65lbs with 340 spine and 125 grain heads. But don't think I need to do that yet.
