looks interesting,
im sure there is an entry level line that the working man can afford.
that tang safety makes me go ewwww! not sure how that would work in a hunt. the blaser has the tang safety and it quite 'difficult' to manipulate.

I gather from reading their literature it is an automatic safety, and has to be pushed to cock it, similar to the Blaser, not sure if I'd be able to live with that or not. That was one reason I went with the Krieghoff on the double, it is ready to go on closing, the safety decocks it. The Blaser double hasn't earned a lot of rave reviews because of that feature. The Merkel Helix version does appear to be easier to operate, but, I almost get the impression it has to be held there while cycling it? Their literature is a bit vague on its operational details.
