Dad and I are thinking of coming. If a guy is there earlier on Friday can he do some practice? Then I can find out if I will compete or just cheer everyone on.

Thanks

One of the ranges should be open for you to shoot some paper on the backboards.

How did that .222 ammo you picked up off me work?

I am going to do my best to hit the DV shoot, so I can bring that other box off .222 I found for you then.

Wohoo, a good time around the fire Saturday night is in the making.

Today I'll be ordering the steaks for supper Saturday night, top quality striploins, along with spuds, beans, salad, and garlic toast...
All for $10.00,
Even if your worried about your shooting, the time spent chowing down, and shooting the chit with the rest of the crew is more than worth the price of admission.

Looks like we've got the making of an awesome AO gathering...hope to see more new faces this year.

If I shoot it will be with irons, HA!

By the looks of the possible influx of many shooters I may also just officiate, and pontificate, instead of shooting.

A new rifle as a prize? I best get out there and practise

As far as Dick's scope is concerned, you guys keep him occupied, I'll be right on that

thought someone coming to the shoot might want it

do not really want to ship it across Canada, so maybe sell it at the shoot,

if it was so hard to understand maybe you need to stay home, seemed pretty clear to me, trying to sell a gun at a particular venue,

Yes thanks, but to cover the original carton and ship it insured might cost 75 bucks, and a face to face is so much easier, especially when they might want ot beat you down 200 becks, not interested in that, as it is a 10th anniversary, 5R milspec, nice gun

on a more of a topic message they gravelled the parking lot yesterday so the shoot might have a better parking than you are used to, should be fun

Jeff, the oportunities to sell items always presents its self when a group of like minded individuals are gatherd at one place.

Come out have a steak, and a laugh around the fire Saturday night.
You'll soon enough find someone who may be interested, heck you might find something that may result in you spending some cash too.

Yes I was there for the majority of the work done in the parking lot. Top end work, done the way it should be, this will leave a long lasting asset to the Club and it's users.

Hi Jeff, no worries, i got the jist of it.. just keyboard grammer natzi's and just building some pre-shoot hype, naturally, theres gonna be some words said, some shooting, laffing, some weatherby shooting loudmouth hurling good ol' fashioned insults (probably at bushrat and dick ), and after that we are all invited to eat steak at the winners house, and it will be over just like that.....just like the sonnon/silva MMA fight.

PS Im assuming there will be a range membership available...

I dunno Roger the Weatherby guy is busy on a major job.

As for memberships, I think Dudley's will be open on Saturday, so I'm guessing a bloke could utilize a lull in the shooting to zip into DV and buy one.

Do not need to buy a membership if you are just shooting at the shoot, it is part of the exhorbatent entry fee,

cement bench (and I am Robert G by the way)

and bushrat is really a nice guy for a bushrat

Default bad timing on my part

doggon it dick, something has to change. Me and DRH are headed out on Thursday alright but we're going North... not South Sheep and goats opened on the first and pretty much everything else will be on the 15th. Boats ready today, just gotta pack the camping gear and buy some grocs.
20 years...crazy. I have pics and score sheets of some of those early years somewhere...some with Fred in them. Remember that first pig roast... or how about the range estimating game?? Or even better, wasnt it Peter's hard wire field phones between the bunker and the shooting line one year? He//... maybe that was before Paul even built the bunker. I think we just hid behind the hill :0 Fred always enjoyed it, even if we had to coax him into shooting sometimes. Which means no "pontificating" on your part You knew Fred..put up or shut up, lets make this real, put another log on the fire, tell another hunting story and lets have some fun shootin...
For those of you that can possibly attend.....go. You will have a great time, meet some good people and have a steak bbq that cant be beat! And speaking of "beat"...I have seen dick "not win" .....but ya better practise a bit before ya show up
