Amazing how many vehicles I see towing large camping trailers without weight equalizing hitches. Doubt like heck if they have trailer brake controllers installed on their vehicles either. Down right scary, not sure what some folks thought processes are.

Would sure like to know what percentage of tongue weight existed in each scenario of the video.

10 - 15% tongue weight should be safe.

It gets the point across, but how many trailers have the axles right in the middle?
This is more of a demo for how an improperly designed trailer can behave.
Either way, neat video.

had to move the axle on my new crestliner boat trailer to get the proper tongue weight and not fish tail going down the hi-way

Either that or have the proper hitch and brake set-up but the trailer is not even close to level...
