Any action on the Bow lately?

Going to try and fish the Bow this weekend for the first time. I've got a baitcasting setup so I will be fishing from shore. How is the river within city limits this early in the year? Not sure where to go to give myself the best chances at some action. Recommended lures? Any help is always appreciated, thanks!
