Default .300wsm load help

Hello reloaders. I just got a savage 11 in .300wsm and need some load recipes. Ill be using winchester brass and hornady SST's. I'd like to know what powder would give me the best results.
Thanks
Redneck

If you can get it reloader 17 is awesome. I'm loading 165 sst with 68 gr of 17 and getting 3340 fps with a 26 inch barrel. I use this recipe in 3 different savage 300wsm.

Imr 4350 works well in the 300wsm.

Thanks all that answered. I won't be shooting the SST's out of it just because of the horror stories of wasted meat. I think I'll be using hornady GMX so I can salvage more meat.

Reloader 22 and a 180 grain bullet of your choice. Currently shooting fail safe but can't get them any more. Too bad.

Mine liked reloader 22 and 168 grain Barnes tipped.

If this is your first time reloading a short mag pay extra attention to the shoulder when resizing and make sure it fits your chamber with the bolt closed without any resistance.

the GMX is a much better bullet but will provide horror stories too if you shoot the animal in the meat.

IMR4350..64.5 gr in my Browning A-Bolt (no pressure signs for me, but reduce your load and work your way up)....WLRM Primers, Win & Rem brass. I've used 165's and 180 grain Noslers, Nosler CT,SST's, Partitions. All worked well.
You won't have to worry about blow ups with the SST's or the Ballistic Tips...if you stay off the shoulders...take em low in the ribs...nutin hurt except the lungs of the dead deer.
