Default Mayatan lake

Is The ice on mayatan lake good to drive on? Was hoping to take my dad there, and he's getting up in the years category.

tell me about it we were at carson today went to the westside and made it 20 yards and got so stuck and high centered that it took an hour, a diesel 4x4, and 6 romanain good simaritins to get out and man ive never worked so hard. if we would have just got out and looked we would never have tried........but we were lazy. the bright side was we got our limit in an hour!

What time were you out there? I got there around 11 and made first tracks on the launch. Forgot my tackle box with licence so had to go back home for it. Got back out at 2 and saw sled tracks but nobody all day. Did you fish. I saw perch on the camera and pike kept scaring them off but no luck in 3 hours fished. Had some perch nibbles.

After drilling holes water boiled out still. about an inch. I wouldnt drive there in a truck. Long walk but safe.
