Anyone have a word on cold lake and a ice report?
first time going there this weekend.
where is a good place to go for the first time?

Where all the other people are. Follow the crowd. The locals will know where the are and will be on the ice any time now in large numbers.

Just off the lake, fishing has slowed down, on my rod anyway.Lakers are bitting just not hammering the bait like they were 2 weeks ago. Did see a 17 lber caught but as mentioned, seemed to have slowed down. Ice is 12 inches thick, caution is always required on this lake

I was told a good place to try is out front of the ski hill, in about 110 ft of water?
is that true?
