[QUOTE=Weedy1;3528885]I am nonpartisan, don't believe in God, consider the majority of politicians to be either criminals or morons who couldn't make it in the private sector, and would fire Notley, Clark,Pallister, Couillard and Trudeau in a blink of an eye. I have no issues with the Republican or Democratic parties in the US, really could care less about their problems. I do however care about world level power being wielded by an inept, belligerent, creep of a hollowed out child.

Believe it or not there are a lot of things in Trump's agenda I would love to see accomplished, only by someone that is capable. I dislike Donald Trump because he's Donald Trump.

20 years from now Donald Trump will be used as a derogatory term. Similar to when you call someone a Nazi or Hitler.[QUOTE=Weedy1;3528885]

So what are you going to do to positively change this. It is very easy to ridicule and complain about leadership, but regardless of political spectrum they have the courage to stand up and attempt to speak for the people.
So have you dedicated your time knocking on doors and standing beside your leader of choice? Or are you smarter than everyone and have an excuse why you are not a leader.

I'm running for the Rhinoceros party.

If elected, the Rhinoceros Party of Canada has promised to:
Repeal the law of gravity
Promote higher education by building taller schools
Count the Thousand Islands to make sure the Americans didn’t steal any[9]
Reform the retail lottery scheme by replacing cash prizes with Senate appointments
Seat the Queen of Canada in Buckingham, Quebec.
Nationalize Tim Hortons[10]
Move the national capital to Kapuskasing, Ontario[10]
Privatize the Canadian Army
Make gluten free items illegal
Will conduct a nation wide Justin Bieber album burning
Legalize all drugs
Ban IKEA and Android phones
Allow every Canadian to vote in the Hong Kong Chief Executive election, 2017
A rhinoceros for every Canadian Citizen
Trade embargo with the US.

I'm for criminalizing gluten and banning IKEA.
But against privatization and burning Justin Bieber albums only because I don't want to fill sand bags to stem the flooding of Canadian cities by 15 year old teen girl's tears.

Your unwillingness to help sandbag indicates your lack of nationalistic pride. You would let the country flood but here you are criticizing my absolute lack of political motivation? Shame on you.

Back to Trump now cause time is of essence when there is a need to marginalize a racist, homophobic, xenophobic, megalomaniac like Trump.

Good point, but I chose the word "want" over "will" so ultimately if I would, can be up for debate.
Anyway my mom is threatening to shut off the internet so I gotta go play in the outdoors. To get the thread back on track.....
Go President Trump!

I think a good portion of theUSA now have a serious case of it.
Unfortunately there are a large number of people in the USA that have spent more time in church than they have in school, and their dating possibilities include first cousins. Among those Trump remains very popular.

You sound experienced in this..

As well, with the "education" that some are receiving these days, some time in churches would be beneficial for many.

Cause nothing bad ever happens in churches right? Religion is fine as long as it doesn't ooze over into politics. The far religious right is no different than any other extremist group IMHO.

Again we have to disagree. I can't think of anything benefits associated with spending time in a church.

Who here is tired of winning? I am not! lol

Can't imagine what a mess the States would be in right now if Hillary was elected. Even though the restart button she used in Russia was made in China, I don't think it would work with the Chinese either, these guys only acknowledge strength.

Liberal female leaders are dangerous, case in point Angela Merkel.

You guys do realize that this was the position Russians have taken since the beginning of the conflict, right? Right?

You think so? Or are you confusing public comments with actual positions/actions? Because Russia began providing their assistance to Assad by attacking non ISIS forces in Syria.
I agree that it might be a little early to suggest a Trump victory here, but there does seem to be movement on the diplomatic side of things that was not present last year.

You should read or even count how many threads have been started (and eventually turned into) by non liberals whining about

a) hillary clinton
b) trudeau
c) notley
d) atv helmets
e) photo radar tickets
f, g, h.

Pot - meet kettle!

Cheers

In addition to ISIS, there is also Al Nusra, which Russia has been bombing from the beginning, while US is still hesitating to do so.

Russian official position was and still is to come to a diplomatic resolution of the conflict and cease fire. However, the US (under both Obama and Trump) are refusing to define certain terrorist organizations as such and continue to support them as part of Syrian opposition forces. Common, let's get serious. It is Afghanistan all over again, where they kept supporting Taliban for years and look where it brought them/us/the world.

There has been plenty of diplomatic movement last year, as well as previous years. You can read a bit about it here. In particular,
Quote:
The attempts to find a solution to the conflict began in late 2011, when the Arab League launched two initiatives, but without much success. Russia in January 2012 and in November 2013 suggested talks in Moscow between the Syrian government and opposition. In March–May 2012, hopes were on a United Nations/Arab League plan coordinated by Kofi Annan. In January and February 2014, the Geneva II Conference on Syria took place, organized by Lakhdar Brahimi, then UN envoy to Syria. On 30 October 2015, further talks started in Vienna involving officials from the US, the EU, Russia, China and various regional actors such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey and, for the first time, Iran. Peace talks with rebel leadership continued in Astana, Kazakhstan in 2017.[2] The Kazakh officials are offering Astana as a neutral venue and "a natural home" for peace negotiations on Syria.

Because most Conservative politicians are wimps and don't fight dirty like Liberals they always lose, finally someone closer to our side won, we don't get to gloat very often but have lots to whine about.

Well, looks like someone is waking up slowly. Also right after Tillerson's talks with Lavrov and Putin. Good on good old Trump though for putting some pressure on the Russians. LOL

But I do genuinely wonder what the deal was.
