Default Fibre Sight Advice

I'm looking to put a set of fibre optic sights on a Rem 20 Ga Deer Barrel.

Anyone done this and/or know of a model that will fit?

Thanks

Are you looking for one of the screw in fibre optic sights that replace the front bead?

I purchased a Tru-Glow one a few months ago and found that the beads on both of my Rem Express shotguns (20 and a 12) were not removable.

I emailed Remington and they said that they're pressed in and not removable.

I'm hoping to take both barrels into a gunsmith to have them drilled and tapped. Just havent got around to it yet. Hopefully in the new year.

There is also the option of using the kind that install on the barrel rib. I tried one but didnt care for it.

If you're looking for a screw in type of sight, check that yours is removable first. Might save you a trip to the store.

Thanks Mikey,

The barrel I have is the Remington 20" fully rifled slug barrel.

I checked and the stock rear sights are rifle type that screw in with a dove tail foresight.

I took a look at the TruGlo website and there are two possibilities that could fit the bill.

The TG110W that Dick gave the the link for look like they will fit, but it is hard to tell from the picture. The screws look to be in the right spot and the dovetail looks right.

There is also a model TG961R in the Slug Gun Series that could work, but the screw setup and foresight does not look quite right.

Maybe to be safe I'll get one of each and return the one that does not fit.

Thanks all for the help.
