Default Loading Pics on A/O

Just a FWIW for those who are experiencing problems uploading photos to AO
I'm not a computer nerd by a longshot but I have found it fairly simple if uploading from a Windows Desktop.
It seems the problem is the photo file size. Anything over 800x600 pixels gives me upload grief so I just reduce the size in Windows Photo Gallery to 800x600 and up they go. There may be better, or different, ways to do it but this method works for me. How those huge pics get posted to this forum is still a mystery .. and Photobucket sucks.

I use the AO User CP 'Pictures & Albums' feature all the time to put pictures in a thread post, as there's no real need to post a picture any larger than 800X600.

However, I'll sometimes use an internet link to post a picture in a thread, and sometimes they can be quite large. Whenever possible, I always try to choose the most reasonable sized version available. It helps to keep the threads tidy

In a past thread some said they used Tinypic.com or Imgur.
