Default Good Kitchen Scale for Weighing Cure and Meat?

Hey gents, what would you recommend for a kitchen scale,
accurate enough to weigh cure, but able to handle up to minimum 5 lbs of meat? Not afraid to spend money on an accurate one, but have not been able to find very much reliable information on scales.

You'll probably need two scales. Those little grain scales that you can weigh arrowheads and bullets are cheap now and useful. Then go to ctr refrigeration and buy a 5 kg scale.

Most kitchen scales in the gram setting will weigh in 1 gram increments. That is very inaccurate when measuring cure and some herbs and spices. See if you can find something that weighs in 1/10th of a gram.

Also look for a scale that does not Time-Out too quickly as that can be frustrating if you have to reboot the scale

I also see 2 scales in your future

I use a regular kitchen scale for the meat and my reloading scale for the cure.

My electronic grain scale cost me 20 bucks. Make sure it uses common/easy to find batteries. By luck mine takes aaa
