Default Trapping license

My dad used to have a trapping license on a couple quarters of land about 20 years ago, can he go buy a trapping license or does he need to take the test again?

Talk to your local Fish cops and get that info from the horses mouth..You might have to verify that there was a license at that time , sounds like it might have been a resident lic...

I believe your good to go. If he has trapped before then he will not have to do the test again.

I don't think you would even have to prove it. When I got my trappers license after a few seasons of not trapping they just asked if I held a license before. I said yes and no other question was asked; they didn't even bother to follow up on the validity of my answer.
