Default fly wallet

I see fly wallets using real sheep for a lining. Any pro's and con's on sheep's wool for interiors? I have a co worker that said it will not let go of the hook.

If your hooks are barbless I can't see it being a problem. I fish in BC a lot so when I tie my flies the first thing I do is pinch the barbs down.

As mentioned barbless will make a big difference and on the plus side easier to remove from shirts, hats, skin ..... and not to mention trout

I found it works better for bigger flies like streamers, smaller flies fall off
