RV awning cleaning.
Have got some mildew buildup on the underside of the RV awning, and was wondering what you use to clean it? I tried to use the pressure washer but it didn't remove any of it.

I just use Mr Clean in some hot water with a boat brush. The brush has very soft bristles so won't scratch anything. I use the same thing on the sides and roof as well then just give it all a rinse with the hose.

Borax and water (~1 cup per 5L) will do the trick. Test it on a out of site area to make sure it won't bleach your awning. Soft bristle brush to scrub rinse clean with water.

Spray 9 and hot water with a scrub brush. I bought a used trailer last fall and awning was just horrible. Spent a rainy day scrubbing and it came out clean.

I used our p/w on a low soft spray to wet the awning. Then I used a pail with water and the awning cleaner (from CT) mixed and a soft scrub brush and washed the underside and top, cleaned off with p/w and did it again.
Our awning come out nice and clean.
I used at roof cleaner as well and it took off a lot of the grime, bird droppings . Cleaned roof decently.

That's what I do, I spray it on with a weed sprayer, roll the awning back up, let it sit for 1/2 hour and rinse, the awning is as white as can be.

$28 would buy about 14 bottles of bleach.

I like the way you think...Roll it back up and let the solution work...it will stay moist and even make clean up easier....right on..

Another vote for spray nine and a soft brush!
I like the idea of rolling it up and soaking it... Wish I thought of that before putting my rig away this Fall!

As already mentioned no fancy cleaner needed here. Just Spray 9 and a soft brush. That s##t cleans everything and very well without hurting the surfaces.

You all need to try this stuff works way better then spray 9. I mean it makes your awning look brand new again. Spray it on let it soak a few minutes soft brush and rinse off. This stuff is unreal. I bought mine at Gregg’s Distributors.
