Default How long for a stock from u.s to clear customs?

Im waiting on my first u.s ordered stock from numrich and according to my tracking info it has been sitting at canada customs for six days now.
Is this typical or should i be calling someone soon or will they contact me if there is some issue?
According to customs website packages in general are usualy processed in 2-3 days.
Thanks appreciate the input if you have experience in this matter.

It's a firearm part... Give it 2 weeks, then start to worry.

They drag their feet usually, it'll probably be released in the next couple days.

I have waited much longer for a book to clear through Winnipeg Customs.
Don't panic yet.

On any of the stuff from Brownells & Numrichs that I've ordered, Customs has taken anywhere from 2 to 16 days to clear perfectly legal items (AR15 parts, Win94 parts, Ruger 10/22 parts).

And I think it takes the item going thru another facility for it to register on C/P tracking that it's been cleared by Customs. Which can take another day or 2 sometimes...

YMMV

Thanks guys i guess i will give it another week or so.
Hard to believe they would claim something as misleading as processing packages in 2-3 days

I've ordered two stocks from the USA now, and they both sat in customs for about 2 weeks.

I have also seen it where my tracking # said tied up in customs and it showed up in my mail box.

I recently ordered a stock in the US as well and am currently in week 3 of waiting. Its "held in US customs" according to the update. I'm going to sit tight for another 2 weeks, then start to make phone calls.

Quite common as well with USPS shipments, tracking ends at customs and a week later it's in the mail box.

I have one package ( a magazine) sent to customs for further review shows up on CP tracking

Another package shows customs cleared on USPS tracking nothing on CP tracking

6 weeks for a slide stop from brownells, a few years back.

It says "firearm" so they have to hide and wet their panties for a few weeks, eventually building up the courage to view it through bino's; after a month goes by without the evil thing striking anyone down, they may recover some semblance of testicular fortitude and actually approach it. Then the paperwork starts.

I have a bullet mold coming from the US that is probably stuck in Canada Customs although the tracking information doesn't specifically say that. It was shipped May 21.

I just had 2 boyds laminate stocks clear customs in less than 48hrs.

From when I placed the order to when they hit my mailbox(parcel card) was about 20 days. (13-14 days to have Boyds ship them)

Ordered a Boyd 's stock and it took 3 weeks. Boyd's says it takes 2 weeks to make, so only a week to ship.
