Default Honda 3000W Backup Generator Promo

I've been thinking of getting a nice back up generator for a while, and looked on the Honda website today. The very genset that I have been leaning towards getting is on sale, promo online pricing....$600 off! That is kind of unheard of for one of their ultra quiet inverter units I think. Anyway, I ordered mine, will be here for local pick up in a couple weeks (I could have got it sooner, i just picked a later date). Figured I'd put it out there for anyone else who has been thinking of getting one. That's a really nice savings! Just click on the 'promo' icon and the $600 discount comes up.

I will say we have a few Honda's and they have been ok but we also have a bunch of Yamaha's and they seem to perform much better. The new cold start tech on the Honda seems to have made them worse

I've heard the Yamaha is very good. I have just had a number of Honda power units over the years (snowblower, lawnmowers, an old rototiller), and they always worked for me, so that's why I went with another.

They are a great genny and I used it with 2 of my former trailers camping. Only knock was how heavy it was with fuel. ( about 150 pounds)
Whisper quiet and sips the gas.

I have one of those. Great generator. Bit of a mystery why the same one without electric start and much lighter is a lot more money! Lightweight sells I guess.
