Default 17" Recurve Riser vs 21" Riser

I have the opportunity to purchase two bows. One is a Bosen 17" with limbs giving me 62". The second is a Win Black Elk with 21" and limbs for a length of 62". Both ILF and the Bosen is half the price.

My question is: In this case, if both bows are the same length, is there an advantage between the riser length?

My experience only. No scientific evidence. I used to be a big believer in a shorter riser w longer working limb. I lucked into a Longer riser at the same weight and length. (Same Brand so I could interchange limbs/weight) I thot I could flip it for a bit of a profit if I didn’t like it. My accuracy improved noticeably and I think it’s faster too. I think a combination of more mass in the handle (more stability?) shorter power stroke?

Short limbs are best suited for short draw length's, under 27" medium limbs 27 to 29" long limbs 29+
