Default scout style on a BLR???

Hey everyone

I've been thinking of converting my BLR takedown into a scout style gun.

Is it a viable system for hunting?

Tried the scout style system on a Marlin Guidegun I once had. It was the Ashley XS sight system with a Leupold straight 2.5 power pistol scope and I could never get used to it. Changed to a scope base that mounted over the receiver and went with the Leupold VXII 1-4x20 eventually. To each their own..

Although I might just stick with the factory sights for now. I've been spending too much money lately
