Default Ghost Lake

Landed on the ice at 7:20 was fishing by 7:30, .........bingo jaw jacker goes grab my line, 2 seconds later lost him. Drop my line back down can see the fish on the flasher come meet my hook. Bang hes on, bang he's gone meanwhile I look over and my other rod is doing its own little dance..... gues what ..... I lost the sob. have 2 flashers set up one at each line the fish are chasing the bait but no commitment....... marked a lot of fish yesterday all chasers no biters.

Skunked!!!

Where on the lake were you? Those lakers are picky jerks 9/10 times, when all else fails drop something stinky for them burbs, you may be surprised with what you bring up. Best fishing is 10-15 feet from Lake bottom from my experiences that is..

Or they were burbot and they didnt have the bait, iv noticed that you need to let em suck on them a bit longer..

when we fish lakers we always use stinger hooks..

Only one rod on the jaw jacker the other I was jigging unless it was in a rod holder. I could clearly see them on the flasher follow the hook up the column they just were not commiting

Burb chase when they are in the mood .... TrophyPikeHunter was using a rattlin rap jigging through the ice last year trying to get the pike to strike and a burb just came in fast and hammered it.

I would have not guessed that before seeing that on camera.
