Unfortunately I agree with this, over the last few years McDavid seems to find his second gear against Calgary and always seems to have a highlight real goal.

That said apparently all we need to do is start on time and score on Kosk in the first 5 min and we will coast the rest of the way to a blowout....

Hopefully Sutter has them ready to start on time, and not feeling sorry for the Lowly Oilers. Time to man up and step on your opponents throat when they are down. Do not let off the gas.

^^^1000% agree but unfortunately the Flames have a habit of playing down to their opponent's level. Ask the Senators.

I figure tomorrows game is a race for the first goal. Flames do that and stay physical, we are good to go. The D needs to not let someone stand alone off to the side of the net waiting for the one time.
We haven't been amazing lately either, just happened to beat a great team the other night. Need to ride that momentum. We can not lose to the current worst team in the league.
Shall be an interesting one.

All season the oil getting the first goal is something like 15 or 20% lol.

Soooo Down here in Mexico, I am headed to the local watering hole to watch this game. I shall watch my Flames smite the dastardly Oilers. Many a shots of good tequila will be sipped in celebration. Anyone know a Donkey I can ride home?

Bessie.. A bottle of Tequila is the prize from me. What say you?

Well, I'd like too, not going to find better odds anywhere. However, seeing as the Oilers are sucking and Smith, Nuge, Hyman, and Barrie are out, Kassian and Russel may be out, I just feel I'd be taking advantage at this point.,

Default Flames 2021

As much as I hate to say it, I think the Flames are going to clean the Oilers clocks tonight. They’re going to make an example of them.

I rarely comment on such matters but I think the Oilers are overdue a W and I think the Flames will come out over confident. I suspect The Oilers will win and no I am not so sure of my prediction that I would put any money on it

I don't want Bessie going broke, so I will put up a bottle of Don Julio ($60 bottle) on tonight's game.

I can always use more Tequila for Margaritaville.

If flames didn’t win against Florida last game this would be a battle of the bad news bears. Lol.

Still think it will be a crap shoot on who shows up. Records last 10 plus games for both teams are close lol. Just hope it’s a good one. Flames are famous for not winning the games they should or allowing teams to break streaks or allow goals from players that haven’t scored forever. Still not sold. Off topic all i want is a flames oilers playoff series. How hard of ask is this. Been fricken decades

You're either going to be depressed with no booze to drink or will be happy with lots of booze kicking around bessie.

You never know. The Oilers got 2 game breakers who can single handily win games while the Flames may or may not show up.

Let the pillow fight of Alberta begin.

My interpretation of the above was that Brandon's Dad is taking the wager with Jamie?

You got skunked fishing? Huh. That's a bad sign Bessie. And yeah, I think BD covered Jamie's bet. You got enough problems.....

Bessie,

Didn't mean to cut in on your wager offer from Jamie. I can stand down and you are welcome to the wager if you like.

Just switched over to the Caps and Senators game after the Leafs game. They must be desperate in Ottawa as they had Cassie doing the game.
