Default Water Pitcher Purifier

Have always bought bottles water my supply is not reliable at the moment. My water is good to drink health just like using bottled water. The one thing don’t like about water is my water softner I have heard it’s not that bad for you.
My question does any one use a small filter for a water pitcher that would remove the sodium.
Or does any one have a particular filter for a water pitcher that they particularly like.
I have very small kids I would have them use the bottles water but myself I would drink my water so that my bottled last a lot longer.
Of course I live out in country and it is my own well.

Default Brita

The girlfriend and I have been using a Brita water jug with the built in filter for years now. Seems to do a good job. Got it at Costco along with replacement filters.

Most people just tie another line in before the softener and run it up to a bar tap at the kitchen sink.

I work in the country.

I have a regular water cooler, but I have a filter inside the water bottle. I pour a couple of pitchers of water in every day

I really like it.

we bought a Berkey water filter. Fantastic water and gets rid of all the bad stuff from your water. Its stainless steel and sits on the counter, im sure I could dump pond scum in it and it would come out clean and drinkable.
