Loved Joe Diffie songs when I was back in high school. I just played Pickup Man on my phone hadn’t heard it for I bet 15 years but I still seemed to remember every word to it. RIP the music world lost a legend way to young.

Met Joe at the Ponoka stampede when he played a few years back.
Had backstage passes, and actually drank a few beers with him.

Was a great entertainer, and song writer.
He was a good man, I will never forget our beers.
RIP Mr. Diffie.

Default Diffie

He was one of the great musicians in a great era of country music. All they want to do now is rap and sing about smoking dope.
