Get some tree steps and put them up high in a tree if possible, or lock it up. I never liked locking them. Big black lock cable makes them stick out more to humans. Haven’t had one stolen yet and exclusively hunt public

I have lost 3 cams in around 20years of putting them on crown land and it’s because bears chewed them up

It’s not very often I get another person on cam even and knock on wood none have wrecked or stolen my cams

But I don’t put in a lot of effort to try and avoid others.
