Default Miserable day but...

Miserable day on the bow but the hatch or hatches was on and the big boys were in the mood to play! Busted off or lost more than I landed, 4lbs test and #18 bugs whatcha gonna do...was a tough year for the fish with the flood and all but wow are they in good shape, fat and strong!

So I've only caught stuff while drifting the bow and never on a fly. I can't figure out what to do from shore. Maybe I just leave too early. Is it best to stay out late and what do you use if you don't mind me asking

Well days like Wednesday, awful, raining and cold the middle of the afternoon is best time to get out...blue skies like today it's best right up till dark! Bring a flashlight!!
